Extension of OLB certification
Following the last audit of Bureau Veritas carried out in August 2024, CUF obtained the extension of the OLB certification to six new forests, increasing the certified area from 287 321 hectares to 512 772 hectares. This extension is the result of a constant commitment to improve practices in all CUF departments, since the OLB standard does not stop at compliance with laws on timber management and operation and traceability, It also includes respect for people (working conditions and safety) as well as environmental protection.
