Bark: grey, rough with fingerprint-like depressions and small vertically aligned bumps; granular on the outside, laminated on the inside, white speckled with orange-yellow, with abundant sticky exudation of a currant tint.
Sapwood: well differentiated, whitish.
Wood: dark brown.
