🌿 Two major announcements for Cameroon United Forests at the start of the year !

We are proud to announce that Cameroon United Forests (CUF) has successfully renewed its OLB certification – Timber Origin and Legality, combined with an extension of the forest management certificate to UFA 09-031, following a comprehensive audit conducted by Bureau Veritas ✅.

This certification confirms that CUF fully complies with all national legal and regulatory requirements related to forest management and logging operations, while fully integrating social, environmental, and traceability aspects, from the forest to the timber market.
The renewal also covers the OLB Chain of Custody (CoC) certification for sawn and kiln-dried timber. from both industrial sites.

➡️ But CUF is not stopping there…

As part of a continuous improvement approach, CUF is now committed to obtaining PAFC (Pan African Forest Certification), an African certification scheme aligned with PEFC requirements, further strengthening its commitment to sustainable forest management in Cameroon.

As part of this process, CUF has formalized 12 strong commitments, notably covering workers’ social welfare, benefit sharing from forest management, pollution and accident prevention, continuous improvement, compliance with legal requirements, and the effective implementation of the principles of Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC).

📆 2026 is shaping up to be a key year, reinforcing responsible forest management and strengthening the trust of our clients and partners.
