26 employees decorated with work medals
Silver, vermeil and gold. On 31 October 2014, Joseph Beti Assomo, Governor of the Littoral Region, representing the Minister of Labour and Social Security, presented 53 work medals to 26 employees of Cameroon United Forests (CUF).
Depending on their seniority in the work, the lucky recipients were decorated with silver (33 medals), vermeil (14 medals) or gold (6 medals). The ceremony held at the Douala Autonomous Port club in the presence of senior officials and employees’ families and friends, highlights the company efforts to develop its staff.
Commander of Merit
On the same day, the Governor of the Littoral Region, as representative of the President of the Republic, elevated Antoine Darazi, General Manager of CUF, to the rank of Commander of Cameroonian Merit. This award, given to individuals who have rendered notable services in Cameroon, recognizes the work of a committed and visionary business leader.
