
Cameroon United Forests (CUF) entered into a strategic partnership with the company IBC (Cameroonian Wood Industries) at the end of 2023. Strategically located in Mbalmayo, between the capital Yaounde and the city of Ebolowa, the IBC site allows CUF to expand its drying capacity by having 3 new cells of 120m3 each. The site also includes a first processing line and extends over several hectares, offering many development opportunities to come.
As part of this partnership, IBC has also entrusted CUF with the management of two new forest concessions allowing CUF to significantly expand its annual logging area.
Following the last audit of Bureau Veritas carried out in August 2024, CUF obtained the extension of the OLB certification to six new forests, increasing the certified area from 287 321 hectares to 512 772 hectares.
